For those who don’t know, Hoseok’s sister and her friend have removed all their Instagram pictures relating to Bangtan due to the hateful comments they got from some ARMY’s. And I’m still seeing people call the friend hateful words, accusing her of having plastic surgery to impress men, and sending her death threats.

How do you think Hoseok’s going to feel when he finds this out? How do you think Bangtan would feel? Fans have no right to be jealous of people that spend time with their idols because they have no claim over those idols. It’s immature, hurtful, and pushes Bangtan further and further away from their fanbase. This poor girl has done nothing wrong and has received so much hate for simply supporting Bangtan that she’s been forced to take the pictures down.

Congrats ARMY, once again proving why our fandom should be ashamed of ourselves.

Jungkook is special MCing with Saeron and Sana today, and I actively encourage you to look out for the kind of things I’ve mentioned above. If these girls start getting as much hate as I unfortunately expect they will, I doubt Jungkook will want to do this kind of thing again, same with the other members. If they see other idols getting ridiculed and hated just for doing a segment with them they’ll be completely discouraged from doing this kind of thing in the future just in case it happens again, and we obviously don’t want that. We want our boys to grow and expand their abilities and opportunities but ‘fans’ like these ones do nothing but prevent that from happening.

If you see people hating, please try and shut it down. Report it as abuse if you can, directly call people out on it, and replace it with messages of support to the girls. If we let this kind of thing go unaddressed, BTS will think every time they perform with female idols they’ll get backlash, and they’ll be discouraged and disheartened by it. Let’s prove to them that we can be respectful and supportive.
